The Ocean City Fire Department is committed to the education and safety of our community.

The OCFD offers CPR training for the entire community. The department offers training for your organization at your site on your schedule. It also will be scheduling classes throughout the year for anyone wanting to learn CPR. 

The OCFD also understands that busy lifestyles sometime prevents individuals from being able to take a class.  Due to COVID-19 scheduling and class sizes may be affected.  The American Heart Association offers online training. This is a blended learning style where the classroom component is completed online, then skills are checked in person by Ocean City Fire Department personnel. Courses in CPR & AED, Heartsaver First Aid or BLS Healthcare Provider (for professional responders) are available.
