Special Weather Statement:

10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect for Ocean City from 1 a.m. Monday (Jan. 6, 2025) through 1 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 7, 2025).

The latest forecast calls for 4 to 8 inches of snow accumulation in southern New Jersey with some mixing of sleet or rain possible. Snow could accumulate at a rate of up to one inch per hour at the peak of the storm, and northeast winds will gust beyond 25 mph.

Road conditions will be hazardous throughout Monday. Please limit travel.

The utility companies recommend you contact them directly as soon as you experience a problem so that they can properly track outages and repairs.
