The following is the trash, recycling and yard waste pickup schedule for the weeks of Christmas and New Year's Day in 2023 and 2024. Please remember: Recycling and yard waste cannot be placed in plastic bags. This schedule will be in place for the weeks of Dec. 25 to 30, 2023 and Jan. 1 to 6, 2024.

• Monday: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
• Tuesday: S. Side of 34th St. to 59th St.
• Wednesday: S. Side of 17th St. to N. Side of 34th St.
• Thursday: S. Side of 9th St. to N. Side of 17th St.
• Friday: S. Side of 3rd St. to N. Side of 9th St.
• Saturday: Longport Bridge to N. Side of 3rd St.

Christmas trees will be collected throughout the month of January with regularly scheduled trash and recycling pickup. They need to be bag- and decoration-free.
