The Ocean City Tabernacle (550 Wesley Avenue) will host a Community Prayer Breakfast 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24. The entire community is invited to share in a free continental breakfast followed by an inspirational message and prayers from Jeff Boettcher, the team chaplain of the Philadelphia Phillies.

“I look forward to this becoming an annual event, and I want to encourage everybody to attend,” Mayor Jay Gillian said. “Now more than ever, I believe it’s important for communities in our nation to come together.”

The event will include prayers for Ocean City families, teachers and school administrators, first responders, and city and business leaders.
