The annual MS City to Shore Ride will take a new route into Ocean City this year, and traffic on Roosevelt Boulevard and the 34th Street Bridge will be restricted to one lane on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Motorists are advised to use the Ninth Street Bridge and Route 52 causeway to travel to and from Ocean City on Saturday to avoid delays.
Thousands of cyclists participate in the annual fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, which begins in Cherry Hill and finishes at the parking lot at Fifth Street and Boardwalk in Ocean City -- with many of the riders staying overnight and returning the next day.
Motorists should also expect delays along a route that travels from the 34th Street Bridge to West Avenue to Fifth Street.
