The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning in effect for Ocean City through 12 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6. A powerful thunderstorm is approaching the island.

A Flood Advisory is also in effect through 2 p.m. Tuesday. An inch and a half of rain has fallen today, and another 1 to 3 inches is predicted.
