The Friday and Saturday night (Aug. 5 and Aug. 6) performances of “The Sound of Music” at the Bill and Nancy Hughes Performing Arts Center in Ocean City will be cancelled due to COVID-19 precautions among the cast.

Ticketholders will be contacted to reschedule for shows from Aug. 9 to Aug. 12 or to receive refunds.

The Ocean City Pops Orchestra and the Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) are presenting performances of the classic musical. Remaining show times are at 7:30 p.m. on August 9, 10 and 12, and at 2 p.m. on Aug. 11. For more information, call 609-399-6111.​
