This week, the contractor successfully completed the pressure testing of the new 16" HDPE line. Next week, the contractor is scheduled to install new castings and lids on the concrete chambers that are spaced between 24th and 8th Streets.

Currently, and through the weekend, Bay Avenue will be fully open to two lanes of traffic. Next week, Bay Avenue will be open to two lanes of traffic, except for local closures and detours at the work zones.


Final paving is scheduled to begin around May 1 -- after the restored trenches have fully settled.
