Ocean City's contractor for trash and recycling pickup suspended collection on Monday afternoon due to flooding and safety issues with their operation.

The alley between Asbury Avenue and West Avenue from 35th Street to 47th Street remains to be completed.

The contractor will finish that area first thing in the morning and continue with regularly scheduled Tuesday routes.
