The installation of the 16" HDPE pipe was completed this week and all the tie-in connections at the northern terminus of the project were made. All open pits have been backfilled and temporary paved.

Next week (Feb. 1 to 5), the contractor will begin the process of installing the air release valves, vent pipes and castings at twenty (20) concrete chambers distributed over the length of the project from 31st Street to 8th Street.

This weekend, Bay Avenue will be fully open to two lanes of traffic. Next week, Bay Avenue will be open to two lanes of traffic, except for local closures and detours at whichever chamber is being worked on.
