Update: As of Thursday morning (Sept. 3, 2020), sand-pumping operations are on standby for the repair of a gasket. Beach replenishment is expected to resume at about noon. The contractor has about 10 hours to go before the project is complete -- likely on Thursday evening. The entrance at Seaspray Beach is closed. The contractor will demobilize as much equipment as possible, but no work will take place during the holiday weekend. All beaches will have full access for the weekend.
