Local church leaders, public officials and volunteers will provide free book bags stuffed with school supplies for young students in need. The giveaway will take place 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 26 at Pecks Beach Village in Ocean City. Families can drive through for pickup in the parking lot on Fourth Street between West Avenue and Simpson Avenue. Walk-up service will be available for those wearing face coverings.
