• Update: As of Sunday morning (August 23, 2020), sand-pumping operations are complete for the downtown section of the beach replenishment project. The beach entrances at 11th Street and 12th Street remain closed in the morning as work crews clear equipment. Work has now begun north of Morningside Road and will proceed northward toward Seaview Road. The beach entrance (stairs) at the intersection of Beach Road and E. Atlantic Blvd. is closed.
