Update: As of Thursday afternoon (August 6, 2020), the dredge Ohio is back in place after moving to safe harbor during Tropical Storm Isaias. Sand-pumping operations will begin shortly between Sixth Street and Seventh Street. The beach entrance at Sixth Street is closed. The contractor now estimates reaching the southern terminus of the project area at 13th Street by August 15. Work will then move to the beach between Morningside Road and Seaview Road with an estimated completion on August 28.
