Update: As of Thursday morning (July 9, 2020), work is concentrated at North Street Beach and moving toward Stenton and St. James Place. The beach entrance at Beach Road and E. Atlantic Avenue (tall steps) is reopened as is the guarded Atlantic Beach. The entrances along Beach Road at Morningside Road and Gardens Road are closed. The beach entrance at North Street is now closed. A CRAB (Coastal Research Amphibious Buggy) is on the beach to help survey beach elevations.
