Special Weather Statement:

9 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2020

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning in effect for Ocean City from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday (April 30, 2020).

Forecasters predict sustained southeast winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible. Thunderstorms and heavy rain also are predicted for Thursday.

Loose objects on your property should be brought inside or secured. All contractors are asked to secure job sites. Driving conditions could be hazardous, and power outages are possible.

• Comcast Cable: 800-COMCAST (800-266-2278)

The utility companies recommend you contact them directly as soon as you experience a problem so that they can properly track outages and repairs.
