Due to the weather forecast, Atlantic City Electric has postponed a planned load transfer that will lead to a service interruption up to 30 minutes long. The outage had been scheduled for the pre-dawn hours of Thursday, August 8, 2019. It will now take place early on Tuesday, August 13. The outage will occur sometime between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. It will affect homes and businesses in the downtown area between 8th Street and 11th Street, and at the very northern end of the island.
