Special Weather Statement:

12 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019  

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for Ocean City and Cape May County through 7 p.m. Saturday (June 29). 

The forecast includes the possibility of severe thunderstorms, damaging winds and heavy rainfall in some areas.

A National Weather Service "Watch" indicates the potential for severe weather. We will provide further notification if the alert is elevated to a "Warning." The radar shows no storm activity in southern New Jersey early on Saturday afternoon, but please be prepared to take shelter and to limit travel if storms move in.
