The Ocean City Beach Patrol will hold a second tryout for new lifeguards on Saturday, August 3, 2024, for candidates who will turn 16 before June 1, 2025. Successful candidates will not work or attend rookie school until summer 2025. Please  fill out the contact sheet below.

Test Events (subject to change)

• 500-meter box swim for time
• 500-meter box paddle for time
• 1/2-mile beach run under 3:45
• Surf dash (short sprint from beach to stomach-deep water and back) for time
• Interview
