2025 Ocean Lifeguard Test and New EMT Information

The Ocean City Beach Patrol will tentatively hold the 2025 Ocean Lifeguard Test on Saturday June 7th, 2025, for candidates who are 16 and older or who will turn 16 by July 15, 2025.  Successful candidates will be required to attend an approximately 48-hour rookie school and be 16 before being assigned to work on the beach. • 500-meter box swim for time
• 500-meter box paddle for time
• 1/2-mile beach run under 3:45
• Surf Dash Sprint
• Interview
