PUBLIC NOTICE:
BOARDS & COMMISSIONS VACANCIES
 
The following is a list of our current vacancies on Boards and Commissions. 
If you are interested in serving on any of these Board and Commissions, please send a Citizen Leadership Form to:

Environmental Commission
Interested candidates should have a strong interest in environmental issues that affect Ocean City. Meetings are held twice a month in the evening.
 
Historic Preservation Commission
Candidates must meet the following criteria: A person who is knowledgeable in building and design and construction or architectural history; or, a person who is knowledgeable or who has a demonstrated interest in local history. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month in the evening.
 
Planning Board
Ideal candidates should have an interest and basic knowledge or architecture, construction and/or zoning. Meetings are held on the first and second Wednesdays of the month in the evening.
 
Shade Tree Committee
Ideal candidates should be available for monthly meetings held at 9:00 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month and have a strong interest in shade and ornamental trees and shrubs. The Shade Tree Committee is involved with the regulation, planting, planning and care of shade and ornamental trees and shrubbery on any public street, park or property in OceanCity
