Candidates Statements to Air on Channel 2

 

 

 

Videotaped statements from all candidates in the May 11^th Municipal Election will be replayed on several occasions on the City’s Government Access Channel (Channel 2 on the Comcast Cable System.)

 

The policy of providing access to the channel to local election candidates was established in 2006 when candidates were first afforded the opportunity to have a five minute statement professionally recorded at their cost, and then replayed on Channel 2. This year’s series of statements will include the officially filed candidates for the office of Mayor and Council at Large.

 

The candidates’ statements will be replayed on Channel 2 on the following dates and times:

 

                   Friday, April 23^rd:             7:30 pm

                   Saturday, April 24^th:         11:00 am

                   Tuesday, April 27^th:         7:30 pm

                   Wednesday, April 28^th:     11:00 am

                   Friday, April 30^th:             7:30 pm

                   Sunday, May 2^nd:             12:00 noon

                   Wednesday, May 5^th:        7:30 pm

                   Friday, May 7^th:               7:30 pm
