“Last year’s Children’s show were a huge success and we are very happy that Stockton is bringing them back for families to enjoy during their stay in Ocean City.” stated Mayor Sal Perillo. “These shows are a tremendous addition to our exciting calendar of affordable and family friendly events and activities.”

The fun and funny line-up this year includes The Gizmo Guys on July 7th; Alex the Jester on July 14th; The Lion’s Whiskers on July 21st and Post Comedy Theatre on July 28th

THE GIZMO GUYS, JULY 7 -- The Gizmo Guys’ are comedy jugglers whose humor reaches audiences of all ages – from toddlers to great-grandparents. Adults have as much fun as kids, so families thoroughly enjoy the show together.

ALEX THE JESTER, JULY 14 -- Alex the Jester’s period music, mind-bending sight gags, and wildly imaginative spirit transport audiences to another place and time. Alexander, King of Jesters, reinvents a cultural icon. Everyone knows what a Jester looks like. He’s the joker in a deck of cards. Now audiences will be treated to the joyous discoveries of a real jester - standing on stage in his curly boots.

CATSKILL PUPPET THEATER’S THE LION’S WHISKERS, JULY 21 -- “The Lion's Whiskers” is a delightful musical adaptation of a traditional Ethiopian folk tale, this show features a charming cast of characters as well as our favorite African Animals!

POST COMEDY THEATRE, JULY 28 -- "I like him because he’s insane, completely insane," says Matt Lauer, of the TODAY Show, about Robert Post, the star of Post Comedy Theatre. Actor, mime, puppeteer, juggler, standup comic, and improvising whirling dervish, Post has created a unique and eclectic series of imaginative and hilarious vignettes. He’s a one-man theatre company, specializing in rapid-fire character changes, even different roles for different body parts.
