Ocean City’s Seventh Annual TALENT SHOW is set for Sat., March 13th  starting
6 p.m. at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. The event showcases outstanding area talent. Professional performers entertain between competitive categories.
These categories include Instrumental, Vocal, Dance, Performance Art and Best of Show. Performers of all ages will participate.
Professionals who will be featured but not compete include Elvis performer Ted Prior, Soprano, Nancy Fox, Irish performer, Frank McCall and singer Emily Carr.
Admission is $5 with proceeds benefiting outreach programs of the Ocean City Fine Arts League and Ocean City special events.

Sunday, March 14th Hearts AFire for HAITI - A five hour Hearts AFire
Radio Thon featuring Hearts AFire Radio Show Hosts Carl & Martie Granieri, with guest hosts WOND Radio celebrities Don Williams and Barbara Altman, The 100 voice Hearts Afire multi-church Praise Choir, The 10 piece Hearts Afire Band and many special guests and performers. 1:00pm – 6:00pm at the Ocean City Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace & Boardwalk. All proceeds to go directly to Haitian earthquake victims via Food For The Poor. Admission is free. All are welcome.


Another one of the City’s HUGE REGIONAL CRAFT FESTIVALS is set for March 27-28 at the Music Pier. The Spring Festival of Quality Crafts will feature leading artisans from Maine to Florida.
There will be a $3 admission charge. Norman and JoAnne Schaut of Ocean City who produce the event donate all profits from the show to charity.    

OTHER UPCOMING EVENTS: Ocean City’s 4th Annual End to End Family Bike Tour is set for Sun, April 18 starting 10 a.m. This is a community-wide bike ride from the South End of the Island to the North End concluding at the Earth Day Celebration at the Bayside Center. The Ocean City High School Band’s annual PASTA DINNER is set for Fri., March 19 at the High School Cafeteria, 6th and Atlantic Ave. from 5 to 7 p.m. with take out available at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and undeer with music by the Ocean City Jazz Band and Jazz Rock Ensemble.

A FAREWELL TO ST. PATRICK’S day to benefit the Ocean City REPERTORY THEATRE will be held on Fri., March 19 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Deauville Inn, Willard and Bay in Strathmere. The Theatre was founded in 2001 by Flossi Micciolo to enable kids of all ages to perform Broadway style in Ocean City.
There will be a buffet style dinner plus entertainment by the South Jersey  Ceili Band, Jersey Shore Irish Dancers and an open mic for audience participation (sing your  favorite Irish lullaby or tune). Donation of $35 includes dinner and entertainment.
